School Visits
The purpose of this event is to help students understand and empathise with the water crisis in Africa through engaging presentations and simple activities. Our goal is to raise awareness and inspire fundraising efforts to help address this critical issue. When you contact us to express interest in including your school, a member of our team will reach out to discuss available dates and times. They will also provide our privacy policies and any other required documentation. Once all requirements from both parties are met and a date is confirmed, our team will visit your school with the necessary equipment to deliver the event, which will include these activities.
- Interactive Presentation (30 minutes): A multimedia presentation on water conservation, sanitation, and the effects of water scarcity in Africa.
- Presentation of Water Types: Sharing real samples of water collected from Africa to illustrate the unsafe conditions for drinking and other uses in rural villages.
- Short Rally: Pupils carry water-filled jerry cans to experience the ongoing challenges in Africa, helping them empathise with their African peers.
- 360° VR Video Presentation: Immersive experience showcasing the real challenges faced in Africa, largely due to climate change.
- Art Competition (subject to availability): Focused on climate change and its relation to water scarcity.
