W2W for School

School Visits

The purpose of this event is to help students understand and empathise with the water crisis in Africa by making presentations and having them do simple activities. As a result, we aim to raise awareness and encourage fundraising to take steps to solve this crisis. When you contact us to express interest in having your school included, one of our team members will reach out to you to discuss available dates and times. They will also provide you with our privacy policies and any other necessary documentation. Once all requirements from both parties are met and a date is confirmed, our team will visit your school with the necessary equipment to conduct the event, which will include these activities.

  • Interactive presentation (30 minutes): A multimedia presentation on water conservation, sanitation, and the impact of water scarcity in Africa.
The presentation begins with an interactive session featuring questions and answers.
We showcase water brought from Africa to help participants understand the context and foster empathy.

  • Presentation of water types: Sharing real samples of water collected in Africa to demonstrate the unsafe conditions for drinking and other purposes in villages.

  • Short rally: Pupils carry water-filled jerry cans to experience the ongoing situation in Africa, allowing them to empathize with their African peers.
Using our yellow water containers, children experience the same weight and effort required for carrying water through a short walk.
Students create awareness by watching 360-degree footage we recorded with a special camera in Africa, giving them the feeling of being there.

  • 360° VR Video Presentation: Immersive experience showcasing the real challenges faced in Africa, largely due to climate change.

  • Art Competition (subject to availability): Focused on climate change and its relation to water scarcity.

After all these interactive activities, we guide students in expressing their emotions and thoughts through art.
